Hi Lorace! Yes, you can connect a mouse to the laptop via one of the USB ports. Manufacturers also make "mini" mice made especially for laptop use. These mice are small and portable.
I love this laptop. It came in handy during the last week, too. Our area had horrible power fluctuations that made using my desktop computer a nightmare. The UPS (Uninterrupted Power Source) kept saying that power had been interrupted and that my desktop computer would automatically power-down in a few minutes. So out came the laptop!

I saw this advertised in the paper and wondered about it, so I'm so glad to read your great positive review.
The one thing that holds me back from a laptop is the touch screen thing. I tried it on my son's laptop and absolutely hated it. Is there a way to connect a mouse to this?
