A Place that knows Customer Service...

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the TownePlace Suites. I was just blown away by the quality of the customer service and the room was great.

Background:
Back in June I had a meeting in Denver and stay at the Extended Stay Tech Center South which I booked on hotwire.
Once again I used hotwire but this time landed the TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Little did I know when I booked that reservation that I was in for some of the best customer service I have encountered in my travels.
The Hotel:
The best part of the TownePlace Suites for me was that it was located next to the Southmoor Light Rail station that allowed easy access to the rest of Denver.
The facility is basically two rectangular buildings that are three stories tall with parking between them.

Check In:
I was checked in by a wonderful employee named Jodi. With all my experience with customer service, both as a customer and a manager, I can tell when someone is forcing being friendly and helpful. But with Jodi you could tell that she was genuine and wanted to help her customers in anyway she could.
She let me know about the high speed internet service and the availability to print things in the lobby, that they do have daily room service unlike most extended stay services, and asked if I needed anything else to make my stay pleasant.
I have to say, I have stayed everywhere. From your small ma and pa motels to the Westin Bonaventure and Jodi was the most pleasant, friendly, and helpful front desk employee I have encountered in my travels and I let her manager and Marriott know about it.

The Room
As you enter the room there is an enclosed closet with wire shelves to your right and the bathroom to the left. The bathroom includes full bathtub, large vanity with marble counter, and toilet.
Once you enter the main part of the room you have the full sized kitchen to the left. The kitchen was about the size of your typical apartment kitchen and included microwave, full size 15 cubic foot fridge, cabin (20 inch) stove, and a standard sized kitchen sink. There was also a coffee maker sitting on the counter.
Across from the kitchen is a nice sized desk which has an outlet for the wired internet service. In the main part of the room there is a full sized couch, coffee table and a comfortable chair. The television is on a small television stand and was situated backing against the kitchen area. One of the only downsides of the room was the television was only a 19 one.
On the opposite wall from the couch was the queen sized bed separating two nightstands. The nightstand closest to the outer wall had a digital clock.
The view was nothing to write home about. In fact the view was of the parking lot and the construction going on beyond it.
Fitness Center:
The fitness center was right next to my room. It included three machines including a treadmill. The room also had a television, water cooler, and a fan. All the machines appeared to be newer and were in good operating shape.
Nearby Attractions:
As mentioned, the facility borders the Southmoor Light Rail Station. There is also a multiplex theater and a Chilis restaurant behind the facility. A King Scoopers grocery store and a convenience store are within walking distance.
Check Out:
Despite checking out at 5:45am, the overnight staff was also extremely friendly. An invoice was left under my door so it was ready for me when I woke up. I simply handed the friendly woman my keys and I was set to go.
Overall Impressions:
I have stayed at so many lodging facilities over my life and all I can say is that this facility has the best customer service that I have ever encountered; from the front desk employees to the manager to the housekeepers, they were all outstanding.
Also the room was very nice and a pleasure to stay in. If I was staying someplace for an extended period of time this would be the place.
The only downside was small cracking in the wall of the bathroom and the small size of the television, otherwise this facility was outstanding.
Not only was the service outstanding but I only paid $33.00 a night for this facility.
