Pros: Well made, low volume, long batteries.
Cons: Can make my son want to throw things when he gets into the role play.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this toy, but only to parents who are not overly cautious about their children being loud, play hitting, and playing, well, a violent green man.

| brenda5008's Full Review: Toy Biz World Wide The Hulk: Electronic Hulk Hands |
My five year old loves The Hulk. I figure it could be worse. The con of his passion for The Hulk is that his toys are not so easy to find in our town. Green Hulk pudding is easily found, but Hulk toys are few and far between. When Ryan first spotted Hulk Hands, he begged for them. After his first day of a weekly class he started, I rewarded his wonderful behavior with a prize.
Did he choose the zoo? McDonald's? Of course not, he had Hulk on the brain, so, true to my word, I purchased these for him. They are made of a soft foam that look just like Hulk's hands from the wrist down that your child places his hands into, kind of like giant gloves. Inside of them are little speakers and sensors which make Hulk like noises when pressure is put against the hands. For example, if your son hits the wall. Or the table. Or his little sister.
My son can play with his Hulk hands all day long, and I think he would if I didn't take them from him for getting a little out of control at times. His imagination turns him into Hulk. Not always good. He pretends to be mad and occasionally turns things over, like the pillows on the couch or his little plastic table and chairs. So far, no permanent damage. Honestly, hitting his sister with the hands has not been an issue, but he and his friends do worry me at times. It would be my opinion that a child can't hurt another child with these. Maybe another child's feelings, but not physically. Ryan and his friends take turns wearing the hands while the other children run toward Hulk and are subsequently knocked flat on the floor. They think it is hilarious. They are boys and have never actually hurt each other with these, but I honestly believe they try, but boys don't bruise or get hurt as easily as some may think.
As for durability, I think these have held up quite well. Ryan has had his for about 6 months and left them in the backyard one day and the dog chewed up quite a bit of the foam. They still work and Ryan is unfazed and still plays with them everyday.
The volume is not especially loud and doesn't bother me at all, but I can't speak for everyone. My mother made me promise never to let him bring them to her house again because they drive her insane, but he exudes so much energy and is so entertained with these, I guess I'm just happy to be able to fold the laundry.
These are a great accessory to the Hulk costume also, and my son is a very satisfied customer.
