I appreciate your candidness. I respect your review and you provided great points, but it leaves me with some questions. What is considered heavy? I looked at a VRX 300 and did not notice the "sloppy welds". I don't know if I can agree with the "very heavy" gussetts statement. I will be riding a Trek VRX 300 this weekend and will be able to give a better opinion on its performance.I know that the technology has vastly improved and I have ridden on newer bikes, but I will be able to see if it "handles like a fat sow". What has been your base of comparison for this bike?
