Pros:Attractive finish, price, 300 mbps transfer rate
Cons:B / G wireless operation is very weak, and unstable.
The Bottom Line: Unit is good for wireless N use, but would not recommend for B/G wireless devices, as range is poor, and connections are not very stable using this feature.
The main reason for purchasing the Trendnet TEW-652BRP Wireless N Home Router, was for increased speeds using the draft N protocal with my laptop. For this purpose the product works quite well. However if you are planning to use this with B/G devices, such as a playstation 3, you will likely be disapointed. The range and stability of its wireless G features are not very good. There is some improvement with the latest firmware update, but still not as good as a dedicated G router.

One big plus of this unit is it offers full 300 mbps transfer rates using draft N, which makes this better for streaming of video or music content from a server. Many of the other routers out there in this price range are only 150 mpbs.
The setup screens of the router are fairly basic, and simular to other trendnet products. The source code for the router firmware is also available for download, which could make this a good product for those who like to tinker with code.
Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive N only router, or want to add N capabilities to a setup that already has B/G capabilities, this will work fine, but not recommended as your sole wireless solution if you plan to use older devices with it.
