Pros: Great park, family friendly, close to lots of attractions, well kept, helpful staff, fair prices.
Cons: None come to mind. This is our favorite place to take our camper.
The Bottom Line: We've camped all over southern Florida, and this is definitely the place to park your home on wheels at the end of the day.

| dbless's Full Review: Tropical Palms Resort |
We discovered this little gem of a place about two years ago. After trying the Disney camping resort and being extremely disappointed, we found how just good we had it here. It's in a great location, within walking distance of a small amusement park, and many unique shops and restaurants. It's also pretty close to all of the areas main attractions, such as Disney World and Seaworld. For you bargain shoppers, there's also many flea markets in the area.... And for those of you who would rather browse in an air conditioned environment, there's a new mall quite close to the premises as well. As for the resort itself, it's quite clean and well manicured. The staff is also very helpful; I can recall one night pulling in our rig to a full house and encountering ants on our site... We went up to the office and they sent an employee to spray right away. They have an excellent pool area, as well as an over the top kiddie area, with a shallow pool and a neat figurine that sprays water. Another fun amentity is the cafe right there in the pool area that serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and smoothies. For the past 5 or 6 times we've been there, they've given out coupons for a free breakfast, which is quite nice. Yet another plus is the rather fair sized basketball court and volleyball court near the office. A fully equipped game room sits near the courts. Yet another on-site place to visit is the lake. There's many little stocked blue gill fish, so this may be a perfect chance to get your little ones accustomed to the relaxing world of fishing. There's many sites at the resort, but if you're planning to visit during the holidays, call in and make reservations as soon as possible, for they are quite packed during these times. If you don't have a rig, you can also rent cottages on property. I cannot speak for the cottages, but they are always bustling w/ people, so there must be something that keeps them coming back. On every occasion that we've been there, there's always been many kids for my daughter to pal around with. This is definitely a family park, but I've also seen many RV traveling groups that are 55 frequent the park. There's really something for everyone. It's truly an all around great park, I highly recommend it.
