Pros: will run anything i have whenever i want for however long i need to

Cons: heavier than one person can safely lift up stairs...

i bought this generator from lowes for less than $750 after tax and have built a steel house (even used this workhouse to power a 220v arc welder for probably 6 hours total surge time over the last year and a half). Am now using it as standby power and supplemental charging for my off the power grid solar powered house. the noise isn't noticeable after the first little while (like the lawnmower it's related to) and the run time is great (i actually get higher than listed run times, but i only pull a few amps at a time in standby mode). would highly recommend!
