Pros: None
Cons: Machine is very dangerous to operate.
Flimsy construction.
No throttle control.
Poor Customer Service.
The Bottom Line: Avoid Troy-Bilt. The Super Bronco is dangerous to use. Troy-Bilt is living on a reputation for quality that they no longer deserve. This is NOT your father's Troy-Bilt!!

| msmccann's Full Review: Troy-Bilt 6.5hp Super Bronco Tiller |
The Troy-Bilt 6.5 HP Super Bronco Tiller is very dangerous to use. This machine is poorly designed and too lightweight for use in anything but loose loam or sand. When used in regular topsoil, the tiller skips out of the ground and takes off, propelled by the tines. I contacted Troybilt and was told by their Customer Service Department that they are aware of this problem and have had a number of complaints. They agree that the machine is too lightweight and sell a weight kit to make it, supposedly, less dangerous. The problem is, the kit is never available. It appears to be on permanent back-order. Local Troy-Bilt repair and sales centers do not have them either. Their Customer Service Department suggested that I purchase barbells from a local sporting goods store and tie these to the tiller. Should the customer be responsible to do this simply to correct a manufacturer's design mistake? The same representative told me that the tines on this tiller are not designed to turn over soil - they're designed to mix soil that is already loose. How many of us buy a tiller to mix soil that is already loose? This does not appear in their advertisements.
There is no throttle control within reach of the operator. You have to move around to the front of the machine to change engine speed. This can be dangerous.
There is no oil dipstick, even though the instruction manual says there is one. Customer Service explains that they haven't had a chance to correct the manual. I haven't been able to determine what other information in the manual is in error.
It has a very flimsy handle. The handle is made of light weight tubing and twists and bends easily. This is the type of tubing that will kink and fail with little effort.
