I've had my Tru-Fit ankle supports for over ten years and yes, I can still use them if need be.
Pros:
a) They do no hold in an excessive amount of heat in the summer or allow the cold to hit the joint in the winter. I've used them for running in hot and cold weather with no problem.
b) They truly fit most sizes. I am a very large-boned man and had no problem adjusting the ankle bracelet to fit me.
c) They fit comfortably inside of sneakers
d) They fit inside of dress shoes. I've worn them to work, to a company part and to church without even feeling they were there.
e) You can modify the wrap to give you foot support instead of just ankle support. I've found that with some ankle supports, they put a lot of the stress on the bridge of the foot. If you feel like that is happening with this one, you can merely adjust the wrapping to something that is more comfortable.
Cons:
a) If you have older relatives who have ankle problems, you may find that they have "borrowed" your ankle support "and forgot to ask you".
b) The black color makes it hard for you to see the wrap in the bottom of your gym bag or the bottom of your closet.
I've used the wraps for running, Judo and Taekwondo. I recommend them highly. The next time I buy ankle or even knee supports, I'm sticking by this brand.
Tru-Fit. You'll love it.
