Pros: Simple install, great features, great software, incredible sound!

The Bottom Line: I can't hardly believe that my home computer is now the center of the best sound system that I own. All this for a $30 upgrade.

I'll keep this review short and sweet. The reviews written before me have summed it all up better than I could.
I recently upgraded my computer JBL Pro speakers to a set of Klipsch ProMedia 4.1's. (also a great speaker, but that's for another review) Before installing the new speakers, I felt it was time for a soundcard upgrade.
After 2 days of research, and reading a dozen professional reviews, and 20 or so personal opinions, I was satisfied that the Santa Cruz was the card for me.
People are passionate and love this card almost to the point of getting mushy about it. And I can see (hear)why.
Its ability to convert data to music is the best I have heard. Seriously. Better than my Denon-Paradigm home system, better than any of my CD players, better than any of my current of past car stereo systems.
The accuracy and depth of the music is amazing. With the help of the control board software that comes with it, you can dial the music exactly to your tastes. (I really like the eq, with about 15% added auditorium effect for depth) The guitar sounds are great, as are synths, piano, vocals, etc..
Easy to install, I had 0 probs and it took a total of about 15 minutes from start to finish, including the software. I am currently using Windows XP with a 1.8 gig P-4 processor.

Purchased my card from Circuit City. They were $79.00, but matched a $70 price I found. Also, they have a $40 rebate, net price: $30.00
A lot of sound for little dough.
