It does work short of a paint job (Reply to this comment)

It works good. It don't last as long as I would like it too.
Worth the money and it hides scratches good for about 2 months.
Very pleased but different colors can be hard to find at a retail store. Shop online if you can't find your color.
It works so good I would recommend if you buy a used car to check and make sure the dealer has not used it to cover up scratches.

I read some of the reviews but decided to give it a try, anyway. I've got a Black Pearl 1998 Honda Civic. Its got a few scratches and swirl marks, from the previous owners. I've tried alot of different products. The first time I used it.It was terrible, I applied it with a rag by hand. Some parts looked dark, very uneven. Then I applied it with a random orbital buffer, with a foam pad. Wonderful! Deepened the color, easy to rub off. Did I mention it's clearcoat safe? It is!
I'd recommend this product, great on the bumper, too.

Rating . . . (Reply to this comment)

I hated to give this an NH rating because it is a well written review. However, it is off topic and is for a totally different product than what you selected to review.
These are not the same product as you suggest they might be in your review. Turtle Wax carries both the Color Back Finish Restorer and the Color Cure Car Polish.
Unfortunately, most of us have had products we wanted to review that just aren't listed on Epinions but we can't just post them under the wrong product for posting sake.
Have you searched for the other product? or try writing to Epinions. If you find that you can move the article to a more appropriate category, I would be happy to rate it again.
