Pros: Best caramel taste I have ever had.
Cons: hard to read expiration date, (in code)
Its a cookie! No! Its a Candy? Its a candy coated cookie?! Well, what ever you like to call them Twix Bars are sure to please most people.
What your getting
Your getting 2 buttery type cookies that are long and in a strip. The Strips have holes in them so that the next layer can be put on, which is the caramel. Then the entire cookie is drenched in milk chocolate and packaged together in a gold wrapper. These cookie/bars are 2.0 in weight, and you can purchase them in larger or smaller sizes and packaging. I prefer them in the singe 2.0 oz packages.
Serv size is 2 cookies

Twix is a Masterfood product which is a division of Mars. They have a website and phone number listed on their packaging in case you have any questions: "twix.com, 1-800-551-0907."
My goodness if these Twix bars did not contain so many carbs I would be eating them left and right. They are that good. The cookie center reminds me of a danish butter cookie. It is very crisp and buttery in flavor. Top this cookie with that smooth, rich, butter caramel. Just when you think your in heaven the perfect blended milk chocolate squeezes its presence in there. WOW.. what a flavor combination. I really love the Twix cookie bars because they don't go skimpy on the caramel. There is a lot of it on this cookie. It is so soft and smooth, put with a nice crunchy cookie and the flavors just blend together so well.
What I love most is that with my older kids I can split one package between them, and they seem to be happy with that. I don't like to give my older ones to many carbs, but I have my toddler that is trying to gain weight and per the doctors orders she is suppose to eat a chocolate bar per day along with her high calorie and carb nutrition drink. Normally with the older children I can get away with giving each one of these Twix bars, and I don't have to hear the following: "Mom loves me more than you she gave me the BIGGER piece..Hahahahah." Sibiling rivalry is huge between my two older children. This avoids any of that. They seem to be content while getting half the carb and the calories in a full candy bar.
All of my children seem to like Twix equally, so there is never any debate. Twix seems to please all of my children in their various ages. I like to serve them with a tall glass of milk. Twix are very filling and will curb your chocolate and sweet craving. I highly recommend them.
