It is almost September, and that means allergy season for me! As I get older it seems to hit me every year about this time and ends sometime around the end of October. I am miserable, and so is my family who has to deal with my constant sneezing and runny nose. (Not to mention itchy eyes, sore throat, sinus pain, and congestion!)
So a few years ago I found Tylenol Allergy Sinus. Tylenol has been a trusted name in our house for years, for fever aches and pains. So I decided to try it for my allergies and see if it helped. I had tried some of the other brands and they either made me so drowsy that I couldn't function, or they didn't really do as they promised. I was delighted when Tylenol brand worked though and have used it ever since.
Now that I am pregnant and due very soon, this is what my midwife suggested that I use for my allergies. So I didn't even have to change brands! That was great news for me.
For $3.97 (from Wal mart) you get 24 gelcaps. Dosage amounts are adults and children 12 years of age and older are 2 gelcaps every 4-6 hours. It states not for children under 12 years of age. I only take one pill at a time though and find that it does not make me drowsy this way. Yet still gives me the relief I need.
Active Ingredients:
(in each gelcap)
Acetaminophen 500 mg.............Pain reliever
Chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg....Antihistamine
Pseudoephedrine HCI 30 mg........Nasal Decongestant
Useage:
For temporary relief of nasal congestion, sinus congestion and pressure, sinus pain, headache, runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose or throat, itchy watery eyes due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies.
