Pros: Available where ever you go, and have a headache!
Cons: Slightly expensive, and if you use it too often, your body gets used to it.
The Bottom Line: As with any asprin, extensive regular use can cause your body to get "used" to the product. Make sure to change brands regularily.

| julie42's Full Review: Tylenol Extra Strength Pain Reliever Fever Reducer... |
I have worn contacts for half of my life. Okay, granted, I'm only 20. I've always gotten really horrid headaches from the contacts, the only thing worse, is not having them in at all, or still worse: wearing glasses. A lot of people can't adjust to the rims of glasses...
And so, I'm a frequent user of all types of asprins. This is quite costly, but at least I can get through my day. My biggest issue with Tylenol is after awhile, my body seems to get used to it, and it doesn't work. Then I switch to a cheaper generic brand, and after a month or so, I can go back to Tylenol.
In other news!
At www.tylenol.com, you can enter daily in their contests. Prizes range from a Day at the Spa, to Gift baskets for the ill. This web site also has tips and tricks for dealing with headaches (probably in addition to their product!)
Engage in frequent stretching. This actually works. In the mornings, I stretch every possible way, and my headaches are warded off for a few hours.
Take frequent breaks when sitting for long periods. For me, this is "iffy" ... I think it would work because I would be a bit cheerier from being away from my desk!
Adjust your work and home environments to ensure good posture. Better posture would help me more, because one of my biggest problems is the strain on my neck.
Massage your jaw, scalp, neck and shoulders. This is kind of the same as stretching. You're moving the tissues around so they aren't so tense.
Apply ice packs to the back of your neck. Nice idea, but you can't just sit at work with an ice pack attached to your neck.
Get adequate sleep. This somewhat ties in with just being happier and in a better mood, for me. If I get enough sleep, I'm much better off.
Tylenol.com also has a little survey that you can take, if you're not sure which of their products to take.
The Choices! Tylenol offers more products than a food court. This is both good and bad. Their survey helped me decide which was best for me, and it was nice to be able to choose from a regular pill, to gel caps and tabs.
After all is said and done, I don't think Tylenol reigns over any other product. For me, basically anything gets the job done. If your headaches persist, definitely go see a doctor, as there could be other problems besides just a minor pain you feel now and then.
