When I was pregnant with my daughter, I gained a lot of weight, 56-lbs., to be exact. I knew the minute Jordan was born; I had to get this weight off, and quickly as possible. Lucky for me I lost 18-lbs., in the first week (baby, fluids, and placenta mostly). When Jordan was 3 1/2-months old I still had only lost another 5 pounds. But now that I have a daughter who needs me around to take care of her, I didn't want to starve myself, only try to eat better, with some exercise thrown in when I can. I decided to give Ultra Slim Fast Powders a try; it says you can lose up to 2 pounds a week if you substitute one meal with a shake, and 3 or 4 pounds when you drink two shakes a day. Ultra Slim Fast Powders will also give me the nutrients I need to, and the energy I need to take care of Jordan, and myself without feeling like I'm starving myself to lose weight .
Replace one or two meals with a shake, and be sure to eat sensible rest of the day. I usually drink one at breakfast with an apple, for lunch I have a sandwich with some fruit, and have another shake for dinner. I would snack on fruits, vegetables, low fat snacks, and foods rest of the day. I did this for only 3 weeks and stopped for awhile, in the first week I lost 4 pounds, in the second and third I lost 2 pounds each week, for a total of 8 pounds in 3 weeks.
I tried it again after a one-month break, and in those 4 weeks I lost 10 more pounds. At the moment I have one shake a day to maintain my weight, I have lost 6 more pounds since doing the one a day for the past 6 weeks. To me my weight lose using Ultra Slim Fast Powder has been successful so far.
To make your shake you add 8-ozs of fat free milk, and one scoop of the flavor of your choice, and blend together in a blender. If you like your shake thicker, mix 8-ozs. of milk and 1/2 cup of ice together in a blender, then add one scoop of your favorite flavor. Ultra Slim Fast Powder mixes together smoothly, the Chocolate Royale flavor is my favorite, and it tastes good too. I didn't care for the French Vanilla flavor. I do love chocolate, so the chocolate flavors taste great to me. Ultra Slim Fast Powders don't have a grainy feel to them.
One shake has over 24 vitamins and minerals to keep you feeling full, gives you the energy you need throughout the day, at least it does for me. I would check with your doctor before using Ultra Slim Fast Powders, pregnant women should also not use Ultra Slim Fast Powder. I found if you use Ultra Slim Fast Powder, while eating well-balanced meals, along with exercising regularly it helps you loss those few extra pounds. When you get to the weight you are happy with and help keep it off it says you should drink one shake a day to help maintain your weight.

Ultra Slim Fast Powder can get expensive if you use it everyday to help lose weight, or just to maintain your weight. I'm ready to stop taking it soon, and see if my exercising and eating habits I picked up while using Ultra Slim Fast will help keep my weight manageable now.
