| BeastieGirl's Full Review: Under Armour Women's Boyshorts |
My husband is a die-hard lacrosse fanatic and swears by Under Armour for all of his sports apparel. When I saw the cute Boyshorts underwear, I thought I would give his trusted brand a try myself. I could not have been happier with my decision! My husband has been known to be right and this was definitely one of those times!
Seamless
I hate having my underwear show through my pants, even when Im working out, however the options arent the best to avoid them, especially while exercising. I want to wear some underwear, but wearing a thong while I am running on the treadmill just is not my cup of tea. I was stuck with ugly panty lines until I found Under Armour Boyshorts Underwear for Women. They are seamless and because they actually go about two inches down on my upper thighs, no lines so on my behind!!
Fit and Wear
Under Armour Boyshorts are low waisted, so they should not show up above regular workout clothes. They are made of moisture wicking nylon, which means that it will wick moisture away from your body and cause less irritation than plain old cotton does. This helps to keep you cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold weather. Its not rocket science, but it is still pretty nice!
The fabric is really soft, making the Boyshorts super comfy. They are quite stretchy, so buy whatever size you normally wear and youll do fine. I bought a size larger than I normally wear and they could be a little tighter without any problems. In fact, having the Boyshorts a little tighter might even lift your bum up just a bit- yet another plus! Aside from being comfortable, they help you look good, too!
The Under Armour Womens Boyshorts are a little on the expensive side- their web site lists them at $17.99. As long as they are only used for working out, they should last a while (like in my case, where I have intentions of going to the gym
). Just to make sure they last as long as possible, I hang dry mine and wash them in a lingerie bag to prolong their life. These are definitely a must-have for any women athlete who doesnt like panty lines, doesnt like wearing uncomfortable thongs while working out and is looking for a quality product. For sure a good buy.
And for the perfect combination of underwear and jogging bra, try Champion Sport Shape Bra
