I have owned this phone plus two additional handsets for a year and a half. It cost over three hundred dollars and has some major quirks:#1. You cannot have two people pick up a call on separate handsets and both talk to the caller at the same time without going through a series of button pressing. Say you are on the phone and your spouse wants to pick up an extension. He can't do that unless you put the caller on hold and press intercom. If you're not on the same floor of your home, you end up shouting for the other person to "Pick up the phone!" It's terrible. Who wants to yell?#2 The answering machine comes with a very annoying British woman's voice. She sounds like she has a bad cold. We won our freedom from the Brits over two hundred years ago and I don't want them on my radio, my tv or my home phone.
