With my youngest child now 2, we have completely moved away from baby washes and have been using shampoo made for kids. Both of my kids have really enjoyed the fun scents available. The latest purchase for their baths was Suave 3 in 1 Wacky Melon.
About the Product The Suave 3 in 1 is designed to be used as a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all in one product. Like other products made for kids, this is tear free and gentle on hair and skin. It is meant to help with detangling and will rinse clean from skin. The 3 in 1 comes in a pink plastic bottle with a teal flip top lid. There is a picture of a monkey on the front. The bottle contains a generous 22.5 oz. and sells for around $5.
My Experience There are numerous scents available in the Suave 3 in 1 line. I gave my kids the choice and they were most excited about the melon scented one. The product is pretty and pink and smells like watermelon candy. Both my son and daughter like the scent. My kids use this on their hair as well as on their body. I love that I only need one product for both kids. It does a great job getting their skin clean and it doesn't dry them out at all. It rinses clean and their skin really is left feeling soft and smooth. My daughter used to have issues with being irritated by fragrance, but this hasn't bothered her skin in any way. I also use this on their hair. My son has thick hair with lots of natural body to it whereas my daughter's hair is very straight and fine. This product works well on both of them. I knew it would be fine for my son's short hair, but I was worried it would leave my daughter's hair and tangled, but it really doesn't. It rinses out so easily and her hair is left very soft and combs out with minimal effort.
I have used this as a bubble bath as well and it works just fine. I can put a generous squirt into the bathtub and my kids will have plenty of bubbles to play with during their bath.
Once they are dried off, the scent lingers lightly on their skin. The melon scent is pretty sweet smelling and isn't anything I would want to use on myself, but it's great for kids. They are left smelling clean with a faint scent of melon. It's not overwhelming at all.
My kids and I are extremely happy with the Suave 3 in 1 Wacky Melon and will be trying other scents from this great line of products.
