Pros: Long wear, relatively cheap replacement cost
Cons: noisy, below-average traction in the rain
The Bottom Line: Good tires if on a tight budget; you can spend a little more and get a better tire

| paman's Full Review: Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP Passenger/Performance Tire |
These came as original equipment on my 2000 Chevy S-10 extended cab pickup. Funny thing is, they are car tires, not truck tires.
When you drive them for a while, and the squeal on dry pavement, rotate them. I've found that gets rid of the noise for a while. When they start squealing, it's time to rotate them.
Traction in the rain is nothing to brag about. Other S-10 owners in the edmunds.com town forum have claimed that when the Uniroyals wear out and they replace them, they notice better traction with any Michelin tires. The irony in all of this? Michelin OWNS Uniroyal!
I've got nearly 30K miles on my truck, and the tires look about 30-35 percent worn. Based upon that, I will replace them about 50-55K miles. Not bad for original equipment...
