With my home theater set up, I need 3 remotes to watch a DVD or TV. Plus, whenever I switch from one to the other, I need to adjust the video input settings and other configurations. Then, if a babysitter comes over and wants to watch something, I practically need an instruction manual to explain what to do.
This remote changes all that to one click. It is extremely easy to configure: just enter your components and answer questions on your computer (PC or Mac) about what needs to be on to watch TV, etc. Their software sets up the remote automatically just by plugging it into the PC with the provided cable. I was up and running in about 10 minutes.
Now, anyone can watch anything without any explanation on what to turn on and to what setting. Just click Watch TV on the remote and it does everything.
It also comes with a rechargeable battery that sits in a cradle while getting charged.
