h_nicholas's Full Review: Sony Ericsson w580i Cell Phone
I just recently switched telephone providers and as part of that process acquired the Sony Ericsson w580i Cellular Phone. I chose the pink color.
Okay, so far the positives are the sound, volume, clarity or telephone conversations. I am impressed. The camera feature is wonderful!! I've owned some camera telephones and find this one to be superb in comparison. The pictures are great, clear and this telephone even features the panoramic shot. I've taken pictures (mostly of my new grandson and daughter) for the past couple of weeks, children, adults, scenery like the ocean view, some of inter-city traffic just to name a variety of shots, all are clear and colors great. Storage is a small problem as with the advancement of these features comes an increase in memory which the telephone itself is limited to. You can change that though by frequent down loads or even an additionally purchased memory card. There I go, getting carried away with the picture/camera feature. I love all but the little button that connects you to the internet. That little itsy-bitsy button that you so frequently hit on accident....added charges, be careful when handling this phone. The other thing that I am nervous about is the keys. They appear to be coming lose, who's to know, but a co-worker said his keys came lose and fell out. Jury's out on this one and I will update this review if that happens. Otherwise, the phone is quite nice..
