The Bottom Line: Although it's a nice laptop the customer service from SONY

For a good price and nice multimedia features I was drawn to this Sony unit. When there was a problem with the power supply after about 45 days that's when I ran into trouble.
First I called the 800 number and I was told the average wait time is about 30 minutes. I tried for two more days then gave up. Finally I tried the e-mail service and heard nothing. I sent another e-mail and still have heard nothing.
Spend a few more dollars and buy a Dell or Gateway. Sony is great at making Tv's and stereos but until they stand by there products you should avoid them for computers. Try the
800 number on a random day and you will be told electronically the length of the wait time(horrible).
