Pros: Best Features, Easy to Use, Reliable, Upgrade/Trade-In program, Remote display option, top notch mounting bracket

Cons: Expensive and my Infiniti advanced cruise control w/ collision avoidance caused it false alarm continuously

The Bottom Line: Everyone I know that has a Valentine One loves it. It's the safe and durable choice.

brice789's Full Review: Valentine One V1 Radar Detector
The Valentine One provides me with exactly how many sources of radar it's receiving (by number), type of radar (or laser) and from which direction it's coming from. This is not useless information as most users of the product get to know their "area" and can anticipate where the detector always goes off. Because police often try to set speed traps in areas where there are other sources of radar, when the V1 goes off I know immediately if the signal is #3 in an area where there is always only 2. I may also notice that the signal is coming from a direction that is different than the normal non-radar gun source. The V1 has not only been very effective, but is more durable than other plastic housing devices I have had in the past e.g. cordless version from Escort. The device is easy to use and intuitive. The warning sound isn't as annoying as other brands and everything is adjustable. Night mode is excellent, too. I was able to exchange my 7 year old purchase for $450 and exchange it for the latest version for only $189... a little painful but sure beats buying a brand new one for $400+.
