Pros: Awesome gothic romance, filled with teen angst, the perfect blend of reality and fantasy.
Cons: I was so completely and utterly unsatisfied with the ending!!!!!!!

If you decide to check this out let me know if it similar to what you mentioned - if that is the case then I will have to start looking for stuff from that genre ... I am running out of vampire stuff to read :]

While reading your review, I was struck early on by how much it sounds like an anime. Not any particular anime, but shoujo anime in general. I might have to check this out.
