I got these as a gift a few months ago and have absolutely love how simple they are to put on and take off.


Comfort

      They are very comfortable because they support your feet very well throughout your arch and the rest of the foot; they fit like a glove so to speak.  The comfort in the heel area and ball of foot area is excellent, too as you can do light activities such as walking, shopping, fishing from a deck or boat with feeling like you are walking on pillows. 


Style

      These Vans Zapato Del Barco Boat Shoes are a genuine classic that for years has not gone out of style for boating enthusiast and fishers.  These shoes by Vans are geared towards those who seek classic style and functionality. 


Durability

      My personal experience with these is that they tend to be very durable as far as the insoles, soles are considered and suede itself is considered. Normal wear and tear they should last at least several years worn five days a weak. 

      However the suede may be durable but scuffs can lessen the appeal of the shoes easily but that's not to be a big concern as it can be easily remedied.

      They should never be thrown in the washer because suede typically can be chewed up by the agitation in washing machines. 


Ease of Clean Up

      All it takes to clean them up is some Kiwi Spray Suede Cleaner available at nearly every finer shoe store. 

     Another trick of the trade is to use a water repellent such as Scotch Guard by 3M.  If routinely sprayed down with Scotch Guard once a month after cleaning with a suede cleaner the appearance of the shoes will stay new for many years to come.  Be sure to always spray the Scotch Guard on to dry shoes so prevent the shoe from being at risk for rotting out from trapped moisture. 


Traction

     The traction of these shoes is superior to that of most boat shoes because the honeycomb traction is stickier than most other forms of tread patterns on boat shoes.

      I would highly recommend the Vans Zapato Del Barco Boat Shoes to anyone who wants a quality pair of boat shoes that is a classic in style and has excellent traction.

     I am very pleased with these shoes and would suggest that anyone who enjoys boating or fishing from decks should own at least one pair of Vans Zapato Del Barco Boat Shoes.
