Convenient Viactiv Multi Vitamin

Pros: Convenient, Safe, Chocolate Flavored
Cons: Vitamin After-Taste & only 12 vitamins plus calcium is not as comprehensive as other multi's.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend these to people who do not like swallowing pills but still want to take a multi-vitamin.

I purchased 5 boxes of these during a recent CVS promotion where you buy up to 5 boxes at $5.99 each and receive $5.99 Extra Care Bucks for each box, limit 5. The regular price is $8.97 per box of 60 chews.
I have been a fan of Viactiv products for several years, and I was happy to see them branch out and start offering a Multi-Vitamin in a soft chew. There are 12 essential vitamins plus calcium in each chew. Although most multi-vitamins offer many more vitamins and minerals, I was not at all disappointed in how I felt taking these.
I am a pre-diabetic and my doctor said I can take up to 2 multi-vitamins a day, so I have been taking 2 per day for about 10 days now and I can definately feel a boost in energy and mood. Do not take more than one multivitamin per day unless you have checked with your doctor for safety. Some vitamins can raise blood pressure or adversely affect kidneys.
The soft chews do have a slight vitamin like after taste that I don't mind, but my children ages 12 and 5 do not enjoy Viactiv Multi-Vitamin Soft Chews and have instead opted for their regular children's chewable. They do however take 2 of the Viactiv Calcium Soft Chews daily (French Vanilla & Caramel) and they really look forward to their twice daily calcium treat.
One thing I like about Viactiv is you can send in the freshness seals from the soft chews boxes and Viactiv will donate 50 cents per seal to help clothe disadvantaged women. You can also redeem your seals for slippers, robes, pedometers, etc. May is double points month for seal redemption.
The ingredients in the chew are:
Corn Syrup, Sugar, Tricalcium Phosphate, Nonfat Dry Milk, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Butter, Sodium Ascorbate, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Alpha Tocopheryl, Salt, Niacinamide, Soy Lecithin, Calcium Pantothenate, Glyceryl Monostearate, Carrageenan, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Ribloflavin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Sodium Phosphate, Vitamin A Palmitate, Folic Acid, Sucralose, Biotin, Cholecalciferol, Cyanocobalamin.
