With the changing of the weather right now my son got sick with a cold, I hope that is all it is. He is having nasal congestion and is coughing. So, I went to go find him some medicine at the store. I came across the Vicks Vapor Rub, so I bought it .
I remember using it on him before and it helped so I decided to buy it again. Vicks Vapor Rub gives temporary relief of nasal congestion and coughs associated with a cold. And relieves minor muscular aches and pains.
As soon as I get the bottle open, I can smell it!! It is the menthol that you can smell!! I call Dylan in to the bathroom and spread it on his chest. Then I tell him to go lay down. ( I made him take his shirt off, it says to cover loosely on the bottle)
Just a few minutes later he is breathing better. From rubbing it onto his chest the vapors come up and help to clear up his nasal congestion. He is not coughing as much either. Vicks Vapor Rub has these active ingredients of camphor, menthol and eucalyptus oil.
Now Dylan is in there laying down. He is not coughing and he is not wheezing, from the nasal congestion. This jar works. You can also use this on sore mucles, aches and pains. It is working and he is now sleeping, without coughing or not being able to breathe due to the congestion.
