| jimgoings's Full Review: ViewSonic GS773 17 inch CRT Monitor |
I have always been a fan of Viewsonic products. Their GS773 does not disappoint.
The Good:
It supports up to 1280 x 1024 at 70hz. Lower resolutions can have refresh rates as high as 85hz. Color and crispness are very good and are appropriate for gamers and casual users. Photoshop users and other graphic designers may want to opt for a more professional model, however.
The Bad:
The monitor does not support resolutions higher than 1280 x 1024. This isn't a major issue as higher resolutions on a 17 inch monitor would require a magnifying glass to see anything. Another bummer is that the highest setting has a max refresh rate of 70hz. The headache inducing flickers usually only occur at 60hz, but it would still be nice if it support 85hz for all resolutions.
