Pros: Reasonable price, good scans
Cons: Tech Support
The Bottom Line: After everything I have gone through I wonder if I should of gotten a Visioneer scanner.

This scanner is BAD! It came with an install guide that was in Italian or something. Once I did get the install guide from the Primascans web site I was able to get the scanner connected and the software installed per the instructions. Yes, I am one of those people that use manuals!
Once connected and rebooted I received a scanner setting error. I tried everything to resolve this issue on my own including getting a 1Mb update off the web that took almost 45 minutes to download on a DSL line. After all of my frustrations I was forced to call Scanner Support. After spending 15 minutes on this music from hell I got to talk to a very obnoxious technician that, after looking at everything, said that he was going to have an email sent to me. After calling three more times I finally got an email sent to me from Scanner Support. After following this very simple email the issue was resolved.
The scanning interface and the scans themselves are GREAT! The software, Pagis, is not the best and is a pain too. I decided to use another program called PaperPort which resembles Pagis but is a lot easier to use.
While the scanner is working now! I have had to spend about $15 in long-distance talking to tech support and about 8 hours of my time dealing with a scanner that should of been able to be setup in less then 15 minutes (according to the directions).
