| ensignbetsy's Full Review: Vitamin B-12 (Cobalamin) |
While I was taking blood thinners after having had blood clots dissolved, I found that I had a newborn, and no energy to care for him. I was preparing to go back to work, and knew that I would never be able to make it through the day.
What should I do? I had talked with my obgyn, and he suggested that I begin taking vitamin B-12 supplements. Because of the thinning of my blood, I may be getting sluggish because I was not absorbing the vitamine B-12 properly.
What a wonder "drug" this was to me. Granted I was still very tired from 4:00 feedings, and the such, but I had at least enough energy to make it through the day. What a blessing that was.
Meat, fish and poultry are the best natural sources of vitamin B-12, and if you can get them here that's great.
I unfortunately am not the greatest eater in the world, and rely on supplements.
Even though I am no longer on the blood thinners, I continue to take B-12 as a part of my overall health routine.
