I've been taking Pantothenic acid for oily skin/acne for almost two months. I read about its effects on Acne on a message board a few months ago and decided to try it. I didn't see results in the first month on 4-8 grams a day. I decided to increase my dosage to 10 grams a day and that's when I started seeing results. My face became less oily almost immediately. I feel that the texture of my face has smoothened as well while taking Pantothenic acid. I also take B-complex, a multivitamin, and vitamin C every day. If you suffer from excessive oily skin I recommend you try taking several grams of Pantothenic acid a day. Find a dosage where you can see some results and stick with it for a week or so. From there, decide if you need to increase or decrease your dosage. Don't get carried away with it though, and be patient.
