valleyguy's Full Review: Vivitar ViviCam 10 Digital Camera
Not a bad camera for $49 (WalMart), and light enough to carry everywhere. Great battery life and memory (perhaps 70 pix), nifty case, good free software. But it produces mixed results: surprisingly good outdoors, especially if the sun isn't an issue, or indoors with decent light. It's terrible in poor light. Also, it turns itself off after 60 seconds, so you have to cycle through the various modes all over again every time you want to establish the right settings for a shot--by which time the shot is gone. Easily worth the money for quick snaps, emailing pictures, real estate shots, eBay, that sort of thing. Just don't expect to be Steichen.
