| meaznthang's Full Review: Vivitar ViviCam 3615 Digital Camera |
I got this camera off of Ebay for $75.00
It comes with pretty much everything you would need except an AC Power chord. The camera looks good and works well. User interface is very simple and has enough features for a starter camera. Picture quality during the day or in good lighting is exactly what you would expect from a 2.1 MP camera. The screen is excellent and can be toggled on or off to save battery power.
Now for the bad parts...even if you turn the flash on at night or in a dark area, the picture will come out practically black. The flash will go off, but it is not timed correctly with the shutter so it doesn't really do anything. There is no preview of the picture you JUST took after you take the picture unless you go into preview mode and manually search through until you find the picture you just took. Batteries die extremely fast so i would invest in rechargeable ones.
I would recommend this camera on 2 conditions.
1) It is your first digital camera
2) It costs you no more than $100
