Pros:-easy to use
-not too cheap, not too expensive
-low battery life
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product to parents for their kids, but not to somebody who takes a lot of pictures all the time, or a photographer.
This vivitar digital camera is overall a good camera. I bought this camera because i wanted something i could take pictures with, that wasn't too expensive. The quality is good, but not very good. It's easy to use, and convenient. It comes with a wrist strap, so its easier not to drop. It also lets you take videos. You can change the settings for the pictures, and even do them in black and white. It makes it easy to upload your pictures to facebook, twitter, tumblr, etc. It comes with a program that you can do a lot with. It's a good camera for kids, because its not too expensive, and its easy for them to use. What i don't like about this camera is that the battery doesn't last very long. It's noisy, and if you want it on silent mode, you have to set it for silent mode every time you turn it on. You also have to put it on flash every time you take a picture, but only if you go back to view the picture you just took. It's not water-proof, and most-likely will not work after being fully exposed to water. One that i had got knocked into a swimming pool for maybe 30 seconds, after that it didn't work at all, but its not waterproof so i didn't really expect it to. After a while it starts to slow down, and doesn't work as fast, but i'm not sure how long the camera lasts. I've had mine for over a year, and it still works.
