Pros: Great sound choices and viewing. Excellent color and background color

Cons: Boy I can not think of anything bad to say about it.

The Bottom Line: I recommend this TV it is great and glad I choose this TV over the other ones.

someoldguy1's Full Review: Vizio SV470XVT 47 in. TV
My old TV took a dump around May of this year and it was a good old 27 in TV we had for about 15 years. I knew when this old TV went that a new big screen TV would replace it. I looked on the web pages for a day or two and did a lot of reading about different kinds of TV and what to look for when buying a new one. My wife and I went to Sears, Wall-Mart, Sam's and Kmart along with the web I thought I had a good enough information base as to what I wanted like size number of pixels sound quality and so on. I called on of  my daughters who had a new flat screen TV and ask her about the one she had. I have seen the TV from the other kids and knew what I liked and did not like.
My daughter told me she had a Vizio she had won in a drawing and I did like it and the picture was good hers is a 37 in I think. Well I find out it is made in California so that is a big seller to me made in the USA. We go to Sam's and look at all of their TVS and pick out the  47 inch Vizio and brought it home. Hooking it up was OK after a few words that my grandmother would not approve of but after thinking about it hooking it up to the satellite and VCR  was not all that difficult.
What can I say I love it I can hear it great the sound level goes way past the level I need to hear it. I love the color and just the complete package.
