My husband and I purchased the Vizio 37 inch television from Sam's Club several months ago. He and I have been very pleased with the quality of this TV, especially since we paid quite a bit less for it than we would have for a bigger name brand. My brother had purchased two of them in different sizes and we had seen the picture quality and researched different brands online before finally settling on the Vizio. Our decision, I'll be honest, was made mostly based on price. Are there better quality televisions on the market, sure, but not for this very low and very reasonable price. This is so affordable, there wasn't any reason to look at any other televisions. I do recommend that you purchase through walmart or sam's club because you can get an extended warranty that doesn't start until AFTER the manufacturer's warranty runs out. A big plus for those of us that are nervous about the quality and longevity of such an affordable piece of equipment. We hooked it up to our high definition cable box and are pleased with the picture quality. Someone else mentioned that it's not very loud itself, it's not, but a TV this size should be hooked up to a stereo system anyway. Good quality, good looks, easy to hook up---it's been an A+++ in our book.
