How I Found White Shoulders :

I was out shopping one day a few years ago and was looking for a particular perfume at my local Osco Drug store. Although not finding the perfume I was intentionally looking for, I did run across White Shoulders on sale and thought why not give it a try? For around $20.00 I walked out with a big 4.5 oz bottle and was pleased! Of course once I got home I just had to try it on. It was a very soft, tame fragrance that I really wasn't use to wearing, but hey, I can't hold that against the perfume! It really was a nice change and I still wear this perfume every now and then although not as much as I do my others. Sorry to disappoint ya!

About White Shoulders Perfume:

This refined fragrance was launched by the design house Evian in 1949. {WOW, and its still popular! That's 55 years!} It has a blend of classic florals including: gardenia, lilac, amber, oakmoss and jasmine. Very sweet and light scent for the every day woman!

Price and Availability :

I found mine at Osco Drug (but they recently closed) for $19.99 on sale. I also found it at JcPenney for $45.00 (4.5 oz bottle). So I really did get a bargain ;)

When Is It Recommended To Wear :

This is recommended for evening wear, but I wear it during the day...personally to me, its not an evening perfume (nothing really sexy about this just sweet and innocent)

Final Thoughts :

As much as I like White Shoulders it doesn't match up to my others. Maybe its because its too subtle of what I'm use to, but it is a very nice fragrance to wear to church, or something where everything is 'laid back' so to speak. I do enjoy the fragrance and it does last through out most of the day, but not like the other perfumes, I have tried. I do recommend it though because it is a very nice soft perfume for daily wear.
