i recall as a child being in the mall with my sister and smelling White Shoulders. We had not seen my grammy E. for a long time(years) and yet we knew that scent. We looked and looked all over the store but to no avail. Every time we smelled White Shoulders it would remind us of our grammy that we hardly remembered.
About 10 years later I found the other half of my family and met my grammy again for the first time in a long time. She smelled just like White Shoulders. As a child never knew the name of the parfume I just knew the scent.
When I asked my grandmother what the scent was that she was wearing, she told me it was White Shoulders by Evian.
A couple Christmas' later I got a gift from my grammy and it was a bottle of White Shoulders. I cried she cried. This was the best gift anyone could have given me. You see the only thing my sister and I could remember about my grandmother was the scent she wore and when I found her again I told her this and told her how happy I was that she stilled smelled the same.
I still wear White Shoulders and I know I will till I die. It is a wonderful scent and has a lot of sentimental memories for me and my grammy.
I have always loved the smell of the scent too. It seems to be timeless and I have had the same bottle for a couple years and it stays fresh smelling every time I wear it. There have been other perfumes that I wore that could not compare and went bad in smell after a year or less.
White Shoulders is so classy and elegant. I love it!!
