Pros: Easy to use, sleek design, and an even better user interface.
Cons: Frequent calibration and re-installing, sometimes faulty pen.
Being an artist by trade, I have used many different mediums and tools to get the job done… Nothing makes this job easier than a tablet for one’s computer (or the software to go with it). This was my first tablet actually, the Wacom Bamboo line having such a great reputation that I felt totally comfortable jumping in to the world of on screen graphics. When I first tried to install it, I had several problems. First the drivers would not read properly, then the pen would not work, and overall it took me around ten installing and re-installing sessions before I could finally use the thing in entirety. But when I did, it was fabulous! I did not need to calibrate it much, the pen flowed smoothly, and most importantly the eraser tip worked very well~! The built in software was very nice, adobe elements and corel painter, however my personal preference to paint tool sai shown through – which is very nice considering my tablet still worked perfectly with the program. I’ve had this tablet for about a year now and my favorite part is how well it seems to age. Time after time, my work just gets smoother.
