boeingman1's Full Review: Wagner 1,500-Watt On-Demand Power Steamer #0282004
I got this product at Amazon for about a $100. I noticed it at Costco for $70 which is about a month after I bought mine from Amazon. Isn't that the way it seems to go? This is the Wagner 905 Power Steamer.
Anyway, this product is described as a wallpaper/steamer. I cannot comment on the wallpaper aspect but it does come with the large attachment that goes on the wall to administer the steam?
I bought this for cleaning. The unit holds about 50 ounces of water which should provide about 40 minutes of continuous steam. You only use water, no cleaners or chemicals if you have a sensitivity or just don't want chemicals in your house.
After filling the unit with water, you switch it on and wait about 12 minutes. During the first few pushes of the trigger, water will come out. That clears up quick and then you get steam.
It is great for cleaning gooey messes up from nooks and crannies and especially the refrigerator. Also the hard to reach areas that we all have in our dishwashers are no match for the power of this steam cleaner.
It also works great for the recesses in the window tracks and patio door tracks along with the edges of faucets where they meet the sinks.
It has a long hose enabling you to reach many areas. In the attachements are two push together extension tubes, a squeegee, the aforementioned wallpaper attachment, three bristle brushes and a brass bristle brush which would be used for a BBQ grill.
The only downside to this unit is that the hose and electrical cord have no way to wrap around and secure themselves to the unit.
