I purchased a paint crew to paint my house. I was really happy with the unit. I cleaned it really well and put it up for another day.

My Brother-In-Law needed to paint his fence so I loaned it to him. The unit stopped working on him. After troubleshooting the unit, I found out that the outlet valve was worn out.

Replacement valves are not available from the home stores, so I had to call their 1-800 number. The representative informed that the valve is not a warranted item, and that the valves wear out especially if you don't strain the paint (the owner's manual doesn't say you need to). She stated that is perfectly normal for the outlet valve to last ONLY 15 GALLONS of paint since this is only meant for homeowner use!!! I don't know about anyone else, but if I spend $200 for a paint sprayer, I expect it to work for more than 15 gallons of paint.

Only plan on your paint crew lasting for one job, then you'll have to spend money on repairs or throw it away. Replacement valves were quoted at $20 plus shipping from Wagner.

On the plus side, The sprayer head is lightweight, and the hose they provide is a good length for an average house. The paint hopper will hold a gallon or two of paint which was plenty for me. The spray head performed quite well. If the unit was only a little bit more robust Wagner would actually have a decent product.

Overall I'd have to say save you money and get a better unit.
