Pros: There are no pros......
Cons: Paint in nose, noisy, messy, does not work, cleaning time, waste of time.
The Bottom Line: Spend the money on something larger, or use rollers.

| cobra35's Full Review: Wagner Spray Tech Electric Power Painter |
I purchased this sprayer thinking, I only had a small room to do, I didnt need anything that serious. I've used larger industrial paint sprayers from a rental store before in another home, and had great results. We have all seen the commercials of some guy hopping up on a latter with this thing, clicking in the paint and going to town. No mess, no problems. Well that add is false, at least according to my experience. My wife and I spent about an hour preping the room, plastic on all the windows, doors, plastic room divider, and plastic on the floor. Thankfully we spent that extra time, because this thing gets paint everywhere. Im not talking about the over spray, I was prepared for that, Im talking about the constant dripping, the spitting and leaking of this device. No matter how many times we read the directions, cleaned and reset the machine, it still continued to leak and spit paint. Now I'm not a professional, but this is our second fixer upper home, so were not strangers to home improvement equipment. Now dispite all of those problems, I was willing to deal with it, even the terrible loud noise that makes you think the sprayer must be broken. But unfortunatly the design seems to promote paint in the piston housing. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but the compressor has a piston that pounds back and forth (terrible noise) that must drive the paint through the nossle. The housing that the piston shaft travels through has two opening that are in direct contact with paint. After one wall, maybe one container of paint, the piston would seize. Then there was no paint and no noise. We took it apart (with pliers) and cleaned the entire housing (30 min) three times after three different seizes, before we took it back to Lowes, and bought rollers. I will never use another Wagner product.
