Pros: Inexpensive, covers quite well, back saver
Cons: Noisy, messy, difficult cleanup
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this unit for indoor use. Its just too noisy and messy. Outside, maybe. For normal painting, a roller and tray is a far better choice.

We all know the commercials. You know, the ones where the guy is spraying his house and his fence and other stuff. There has never been a bigger case of false advertising.
I purchased this unit expecting it to take the hassle out of painting. It didn't. Included is the sprayer, a paint stirrer/thickness gauge, paint cup, 2 nozzles, hose, hookups to attach to the paint can, and a filter, along with a case.
Before use you have to thin the paint with water until its within the thickness gauges range then attach a bunch of hoses and the filter or the cup and filter to the main unit, and then you can finally begin painting.
First thing I noticed when I turned it on, its NOISY. And I mean very noisy. The internal air compressor makes more noise then many industrial compressors.
Then I tried to use it. At first all I got was some paint spitting out of the nozzle. Just spatters. Finally after a while the unit finally primed and started spraying paint. It didn't do it the way they show on TV though. Sure it made a nice spray pattern, but its impossible to control the spray. This unit doesn't have an adjustable pattern. The pattern can be rotated, but thats about it. The pressure can also be adjusted depending on the product being sprayed and the desired coverage. Follow the directions exactly, and the paint gets EVERYWHERE! Not only that, but residual paint drips from the nozzle onto the floor. And when you look up away from your project, you'll notice that you're standing in a cloud of paint droplets. These droplets get on anything thats not covered. I was getting blue (the color I used) snot out of my nose for a week, and that was with a face mask! My carpet is also blue.
And then there was cleanup. To clean the product, the entire unit must be disassembled. There are many parts that you must clean seperately, then use their cleaner, then disassemble and clean again. What a pain. I'm no fan of cleaning rollers and roller trays, but the old fashioned way is much easier.
So in closing to respond to their ad slogan "Get a Wagner", I'd say "Don't Bother, Get a roller instead". You'll be much happier and much cleaner
