I returned to using Wardley Premium Formula Goldfish Flakes after a brief experiment with Hartz Goldfish Food in which my fish were terribly disappointed. see review at http://kelly.epinions.com/content_28826242692/tk_~CB005.1.3

Both products are made by Hartz, but are considerably different. Instead of the tiny crumbs of the former food, the Wardley Premium Formula Goldfish Flakes are indeed nice sized flakes of various colors. My fish seemed extremely happy to get their usual diet of large floating flakes back, rather than the tiny crumbs which sank rather quickly to the bottom of the tank.

As the first few flakes hit the water, there was obviously no doubt in their minds that it was feeding time, as the feeding frenzy began. Instead of ambling over to the food as they have been doing lately, they all rushed to the scene to gobble up the tasty flakes of food.

It is quite apparent that they prefer this food to the previous product, as they rush to get every last flake of this. Even the shy ones who usually hide near the bottom until the rest have finished rushed out to dine on this flakey feast.

The ingredients of this food include:

Wheat Flour, fish meal, fish protein concentrate, menhaden oil, brewer's dried yeast, shrimp meal, soy protein concentrate, wheat germ meal, dehydrated alfalfa meal, corn gluten meal, crab meal,wheat gluten meal,natural flavor, rolled oats, lecithin, soy protein isolate, L-ascorbyl-2-polysulphate, and a vitamin premix.

According to the package directions, you should feed this product to your goldfish several times per day. This is the way I have always fed my fish since this is the way fish will naturally eat. If you choose to feed them in this manner though, be careful since it is easier to overfeed them this way.

These Wardley Premium Formula Goldfish Flakes contain a much more nutritious diet for my fish than the previous product, and is also much more attractive to them. They have been eating it for quite some time now. They are very healthy and have grown rather large in size since I began using this product. Their colors are nice and bright as well. My fish love it and I'm certain that your's will too.
