Pros: Average performance for the price range.

Cons: Loud Kind of bulky.

The Bottom Line: This is a fine product for a beginning juicer like myself, but if you get really into it you will probably want to upgrade to a $200 juicer.

I've had the Waring Health Juice Extractor for almost a year now. It was in a closet for about 4 months of that time and wasn't used but I missed my juice.

This machine is on par with other inexpensive juicers on the market. It will extract a good amount of juice from hard fruits and vegetables however it is not going to get every bit of juice out.

I was able to take the pulp out after juicing some spinach, carrots and apples and put it in a cheese cloth and I could manually squeeze about 2-4 tablespoons more juice out of it.

One other problem I had with it was the noise. It is very loud even when nothing is being juiced.

Cleanup isn't terribly difficult except the metal strainer/blade is a little tough to get clean depending on what you juice. It is mostly plastic and can be easily cleaned with hot soapy water or in the dishwasher.

It also clogged up a bit when I did some pineapple and fed the core through. It is pretty woody and fibrous and those little fibers got caught up in the tiny holes.

It dosen't seem to get too hot during use which is one think I have heard to look for in a juice extractor since heat will kill some of the nutrients.

Food does also have to be cut down to fit through the feed tube. Things like most carrots and celery are fine but bigger apples have to be cut into 1/8ths to fit.
