simplesolution's Full Review: Waring JEX328 400 Watts Juicer
Lasted a whopping 1 1/2 month. That should say it all.
If you wanted something beautiful to look at in your stainless steel kitchen, buy this product. If you wanted a functional juicer, stay away.
First the plastic lip that locks the waste storage and the top, broke off. I glued it back with epoxy glue that usually mends things to such degree that everything else will fall apart, but that mending. It lasted only 1 1/2 week. It seemed that you had to force the plastic to come together.
Then the motor. One day while my son's babysitter tried to make juice for him, the motor did not turn on. I came home and played with it, looked around and couldn't get it to work.
On another note. I had a cheap 10 year old Krups juicer. It worked fine and produced a lot of juice, but taking it apart was a major chore. The On/Off triggered got jammed on the On position and I didn't want to deal with the headache of preparing all the fruits and vegetables, then plugging it in and juicing quickly. I bought this monster and it produced approx 1/2 the juice.
Most stores on the web sell the factory-reconditioned version of this juicer and now I understand why.
The only thing that I kept was the stainless steel cup. Having to send it out and wait for it to be fixed is not worth the headache and other headaches to come.
