The Waring Pro IC70 ice crusher is a very quiet electric machine. It is also a very smart stainless steel and black ice crusher. If you don't overload the ice chute with ice cubes, you won't have any problems with the machine jamming. You should drop cubes into the feeder chute opening on the top of the unit. The blades are self-feeding. The ice container is a 12-cup capacity and will hold several trays of ice cubes. The ice chunks that are produced are various sizes and are perfect for drinks and cold-menu buffet displays. (NOTE-Occasionally there will be a cube that is about half the size of the original cube). One cup of ice cubes makes about ¾ cup of crushed ice. The IC70 is easy to use and has an on / off toggle switch. There is a five year limited motor warranty and a one year limited appliance warranty. Be aware that this ice crusher will not produce ice shavings or the type / size of ice you would need for a snowball. I have only had this machine for about one week but have used it many times. It costs more than the manual hand crank machines, but is worth the extra cost.
