| Kieli's Full Review: Water Rower |
Sometimes, the mighty St. Johns River is just as relentless as the Atlantic Ocean. Days such as these make it imperative to stay within the confines of your boathouse.
Enter the WaterRower. Though I am a great defender of the ever popular Concept II, the WaterRower gives me the satisfaction of an open water row within the protection of my cozy-warm, and most importantly DRY boathouse. Though you can't feather your handles, the erg allows for some play at the catch, which is quite nice while doing skill-and-drill erg pieces. HOWEVER, the WaterRower does not allow for interaction with a computer or other erg for racing and comparative speed drills.
I change my water about once a month now that I've purchased one for my home, and I have the Black Walnut model (matches the decor).
It is a bit more expensive than the Concept II (for which I also own), however...
~Some days you feel like a row... some days you erg~
