Wausau Papers Paper 20260: Astrobrights ® Neon Assortment Colored Paper (77711741010)

There are a lot of different types of papers that you can buy for crafting, printing, art and day to day use and with that comes the thickness or weight of it. Wausau has an awesome product line of everything from basic paper to cover stock, envelopes and card stock. The paper in their AstroBright series is available in different thicknesses but the basic paper has the most uses. It can be used in printers and copier without jamming and if you cut it in to a square you can use it for origami.

Cosmic Orange: This isn't as bright and cheery as the name leads you to believe but it is a great color for Halloween crafts. It is a little on the pale side so if you are looking for something that has a punch to it, this might not be the best color to go with but considering that it is part of an assorted pack of colors eventually you'll find a use for it.

Vulcan Green: If you are looking for a puke green or something to use to make aliens, this is the color for you. It's almost a lime green color but it isn't top heavy with yellow. I wanted to make 3-D aliens patterned along the ones in the Toy Story series and this was one of the best colors for their heads and hands. You can use it for other things but it is a quirky color if you are working with other greens or yellows.

Martian Green: This is the lighter of the two greens in this pack but that doesn't mean that it's any less appealing to the eye. It is not what I consider a neon color but it can be used for a lot of things like grass, insects and regular printing paper. This is a little easier on the eye than the Vulcan Green but it is not primary green so if you are looking for that type of hue you are going to have to get another pack of paper.

Pulsar Pink: While not a loud or screaming color of pink it is a perky color. You can use this for Valentine paper crafting as well as for scrapbooking but this is paper not cardstock so if you need something thicker you might need to adhere this to something else if you are making something that is dimensional. Black ink looks amazing on the color if you are running it through a copier or printer.

Lift-Off Lemon: Even though I don't normally like most yellow colors, this one is super versatile and can be used for a lot of things. It has a little pop and zip to it but not so much that your eyes feel like they are going to bleed if you are reading something that is printed on it. It is a color that isn't going to be missed if you are using it for a memo or bulletin.

There's a lot that you can do with the colors in this assortment but they are not what I consider true neon colors; you can use most types of ink on the paper but with markers you can expect a little bit of color change unless you are using something that is milky. The milky gel pens are made for use on black paper so the colors will be visible; when you use them on colored paper like this you are going to get the true color showing up on paper.
