GIVING HOPE AND PEACE TO MANY

Written: Feb 10 '00 (Updated Feb 11 '00)
Pros:gives hope,a sense of peace about death and makes some notice little things for the first time.
Cons:still leaves you wondering and can make you think something is wrong if your loved one seems not to communicate with you.

WE ARE NOT FORGOTTEN is somewhat of an interview with George Anderson,a psychic medium, and tells the stories of many of his readings, the letters her receives and the messages he returns. The book is about messages from "the other side" or as others say.."from those who have passed over". This book gives messages of hope from our deceased loved ones and provides great comfort to those of us still living.

This book discusses messages from the deceased that were by accident, murder, suicide, satanism, disease and other natural causes. Details are given to the relatives of the deceased that only they would know and the message almost always consists of the deceased stating that he/she is fine and that their parents/relatives and friends need not worry or grieve for them. Most deceased persons tell the message of being able to be with their loved ones even though they are not seen or heard. Great details about the death are given to the families.

This book also discusses the extensive testing that George has undergone to prove or disprove his abilities as a medium.

Joel has written this book in a way that keeps the reader's attention as the stories are kept short and the details leave nothing to assume or try to figure out.

Obviously no one will truly know if there is life on the other side and what it is like until they get there but this book gives hope and comfort to the families of deceased people when finding hope anywhere else is difficult. After one reads this book even they would have to admit that George's work is very convincing. Joel has also written "OUR CHILDREN FOREVER"messages from Children on the other side, which is also a wonderful book.

These types of books can be a welcome yet painful source of information on the subject of life after death. Although I found both mentioned books very painful to read in my particular time of grief, I also found hope that our deceased loved ones are really in a better place and that they know what we are thinking and they still feel the love we have for them. It gives hope that we will be together again and takes some of the sadness of grief away.

I have read many other books by many other authors on this subject and pertaining subjects and found for the most part that I believe there is evidence to support the claims of afterdeath communications whether it be spoken, the scent of perfume or cologne,or simply the feeling that someone is there. It makes you take notice of the little things that you may have brushed off before, makes you see little signs in your own life that your loved ones may actually be trying to let you know they are with you.

Most of the books of this type that I have read are spiritually uplifting with a few exceptions. I strongly recommend this book to those who are questioning the unknown but warn that you may still walk away wondering, for the only true proof is when you get there yourself. These books are books about your amount of willingness to have faith in the unknown I think and to have faith in something that no one can prove for sure is a difficult thing.

I,personally, would like to see someone do their best to prove George a fraud as I think this would be a most difficult task.
